Let’s roast some tea!

Traditionally done with oolongs, we’ll roast our Tung Ting and Ti Guan Yin, comparing the un-roasted and the newly roasted teas. This will be a grand experiment using our tea basket roaster ported back from Taiwan from our tea roasting class with Yoshan Tea. We’ll see how time and temperature affect these green oolongs.

$25 pp to taste 4 teas – 2 teas initially, un-roasted in their usual form, and then roasted, and each brewed gong fu style, with optional additional tastings using the roaster to test different temperatures and time of roasting.
